Since immigrating to New York from China in 1986, Zenxin Wang has loved the diversity of the city and how people of different backgrounds get along in harmony.

Now, the 68-year-old limo driver worries for his safety after a stranger whacked him over the head with an umbrella during a tussle on a Queens bus, telling him, “I don’t like Chinese people.”

“I feel sad and I feel very uncomfortable,” Wang told the Daily News. “I think New York is a nice city, many kinds of races of people, all of them together, very nice, very peacefully. Now I know that some people hate Chinese and I have to be careful.”

The drama began after Wang struck up a conversation with a Chinese woman while waiting for a Q20 bus in Flushing on March 7.
