What this site is for:

This web site is devoted to the work of researchers and practitioners who are concerned with the problems of hate crimes and domestic terror. Several of the individuals involved in this working group are based at universities, others are active in varying roles in law enforcement, policy, health care, and social services. It is appropriate to say that the working group consists of informed individuals who support the initiatives of hate crime laws and anti-terror initiatives, at the same time our unique roles and experiences may lead us to see distinctly different applications of the laws and initiatives which may be attenuated by differences of our work roles, our cultural experiences, or our professional relationships. It is equally true while most of us are North American based, we include persons active with the issues of hate crime and intergroup violence on several different continents. The sun never sets on hate crimes and one of us will be there to say (or do) something about it.

What is this all about?

Practically, this site will try to do three things. For one we will provide in English a weekly update on current news stories on issues of hate and domestic terror globally (and at this point as found in English). Secondly this site will provide a means of making us accessible to others concerned with the problems of hate crimes. Finally, the site will allow us to put forth information on varying work products to interested parties. Currently this will principally be concerned with a Praeger Publishers book series on hate crimes and domestic terror that is currently under development.

Who owns us:
